Day 2: So Many Choices

It’s the tail end of a long, busy, physically exhausting, life-changing day. I’m so tired I could fall asleep where I sit, but I couldn’t exactly skip on Day 2.

Actually, I’ve been thinking all day about what I would write about, and I couldn’t come up with a single topic. Rather, I came up with several. So, today, I’m happy that I have so many things to be happy about!

Is that a cop-out? Maybe. Just in case, I’ll list some of the things that are making me smile and promise to write about them more in the next month:

Amazing friends. I am absolutely blessed to count as my friends people who are warm, kind, intelligent, funny, confident, and giving. These are people that I truly look at in awe and think “that’s my friend.”

State of my business. Frankly, it’s going bonkers. Yes, I’m about to go bonkers trying to keep up with it, but that is one heck of a good problem to have.

My home. I live in a spacious, gorgeous, affordable, apartment on a safe street in a great neighborhood with an awesome landlord.

My cat. I swear I’m not a crazy cat lady, but my Nina brings so much warmth and love to my life I don’t care if people think I am. So there.

My son. That kids definitely gets his own post. I won’t even try to summarize him here.

My boyfriend. I was perfectly happy being single. Or so I thought. Then I met Jim. I’ve never been in such a mutually respectful relationship. I used to think having a boyfriend meant drama drama drama, being controlled and told what to do, and losing myself. Not with this one.

There’s much more that came to mind today, but I’ll leave those for another day. Right now, I’m just happy that it’s time to go to bed!
